Dexter loves to Sniff All The Sniffs! It's his favorite thing to do on the road; as it is for most dogs. The sweet sensations of a rushing summer breeze carrying all the stories of every town we have visited on our journeys. Dex has earned many smiles on his travels and seems to brighten even the most sour of faces. His curly tail and big smile is contagious.

I loved the look on his face in the reference photo so much that I had to capture it in oils forever. He is totally in his bliss! His precious face kissed by the sun and his ears flopping in the wind, he lets the moment envelope him. What an amazing reminder to really live in the present and be in gratitude for everything, even the tiny moments that often go unrecognized. Dexter has taught me this many times.
